Job summary

Meratus Group, a leading maritime and logistics operator in Indonesia, is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer in Surabaya. You will handle invoice processing, payment execution, vendor inquiries, expense reimbursements, and assist with month-end closing with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

Minimum 2 years AP experience and a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting are required. Proficiency in Excel and strong communication with vendors and internal teams are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on Accounts Payable experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.
• Understanding of AP processes and internal controls; able to flag inconsistencies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Clear communicator with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Invoice processing: verify, code, and process supplier invoices, 3-way matching with PO and receipts.
• Payment processing: prepare and execute payments per policy and deadlines.
• Vendor management: respond to inquiries and reconcile statements.
• Expense reimbursements: process employee expense claims.
• Recordkeeping and reporting: maintain AP ledgers and assist month-end closing and audits.
