Job summary

Clark Wood is partnering with a highly regarded regional firm of chartered accountants to recruit an Accounts Manager in Kendal. You will manage a diverse client portfolio, acting as the main contact for clients and ensuring accurate and timely statutory and management accounts, tax computations, and returns.

The ideal candidate is ACCA/ACA qualified, with strong practice experience and excellent communication skills to build relationships with multiple clients and oversee junior staff

Qualifications

• ACCA/ACA qualified with strong general practice experience.
• Excellent communication skills to maintain client relationships.
• Experience supervising junior staff and reviewing their work.

Responsibilities

• Managing a diverse portfolio of clients from various industry sectors.
• Preparation and review of Statutory Accounts and Management Accounts.
• Preparation and review of tax computations and returns.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for an array of clients.
• Billing and workload management to exceed client expectations.
• Reviewing the work of junior staff and providing guidance.
