Job summary

PT Mulia Dewata Gemilang, based in Bali, seeks an experienced accounting supervisor to oversee closing procedures and ensure accurate financial reporting. You will lead monthly and annual book closings, manage intercompany transactions, and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and control.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, 3-4 years in accounting and taxation, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accounting closing processes; prepare reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reports independently
• Review financial reports and GL activities, examine account variances, resolve discrepancies, and provide explanations of fluctuations
• Review expenses, accruals, prepayments, and chart of accounts to ensure accurate recording across all entities
• Prepare and review documentation for journal entries, account reconciliations, and analytics to support internal review and audit processes
• Participate in group-level audits, system improvements, intercompany reconciliations, and business process improvements
• Implement best practices to ensure accuracy, compliance, and integrity of accounting operations across the company environment

Job description

Key responsibilities

About you

Bachelor's degree (S1) in Accounting

3-4 years of work experience in accounting and taxation

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

Experience managing teams and working in creative and dynamic environments

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software

Able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
