Job summary

PT Maju Bersama Gemilang in Semarang, Indonesia, is seeking an experienced accountant to join our finance team. The role covers general ledger postings, asset depreciation, and financial reporting.

You will review documents for legitimacy, perform reconciliations, and handle tax recording and reporting (VAT, articles 21-26). Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with at least 2 years of related experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial transaction and post them in general ledger.
• Review the legitimacy, rationality and authenticity of original documents.
• Responsible for the financial management of fixed assets and monthly depreciation.
• Perform reconciliations of general ledger.
• Reconciling finance data and payment reconciliation.
• Recording and reporting of financial reports.
• Tax recording and reporting (VAT).
• Assisting superiors in the preparation of monthly and quarterly accounting reports.

• Responsible for the financial management of fixed assets and on monthly plan carry depreciation of fixed assets
• Performing reconciliations of general ledger
• Reconciling finance data and payment reconciliation
• Recording and reporting of financial reports
• Tax recording and reporting (article 21, 23, 24, 25, 26 and VAT)
• Assisting superiors in the preparation of monthly and quarterly accounting reports

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree majoring in Accounting
• Have experience in the related field at least 2 years
