PT Buana Abadi Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented junior accountant in Jakarta to record daily transactions and manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable for shipment-related activities.
You will perform reconciliations, support monthly closes, and assist with financial reporting and tax compliance. A bachelor’s in accounting with 1–2 years’ experience is preferred, along with strong Excel skills.
Record and maintain daily accounting transactions accurately and systematically. Prepare and record Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP). Record vendor bills, operational expenses, and shipment-related costs. Perform bank, cash, AR, and AP reconciliations. Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documents.
Key responsibilities
Record and maintain daily accounting transactions accurately and systematically
Prepare and record Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
Record vendor bills, operational expenses, and shipment-related costs
Perform bank, cash, AR, and AP reconciliations
Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documents
Assist in monthly closing and preparation of financial reports
Monitor profitability and costs of individual shipments/jobs when required
Coordinate with operations and sales to ensure billing and cost information is complete and accurate
Prepare and organize monthly tax administration and supporting documents
Assist with calculation, payment, and reporting of applicable company taxes
About you
Minimum S1 Accounting, Finance, Tax, or related field
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounting and/or tax
Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, trading, or transportation is preferred
Understand basic Indonesian accounting and taxation
Familiar with AR, AP, bank reconciliation, invoicing, and financial reporting
Familiar with e-Faktur, Coretax, and relevant Indonesian tax administration
Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
Able to work with large volumes of transactions and supporting documents
Detail-oriented, organized, disciplined, and responsible
Able to identify discrepancies rather than simply entering data
