This role is based in Batam, Kepulauan Riau in the construction sector. You will handle financial and tax responsibilities, including external tax reporting, account reconciliation, voucher management, and financial analysis to support company decision-making.

Key responsibilities

Fluent English or Mandarin as the working language for daily communication, document reading/writing, and cross-departmental collaboration with the team and Project Owner

Master Indonesian tax laws, regulations, and policies, and understand local tax incentive policies in Batam (Free Trade Zone/FTZ), reporting processes, and local accounting standards for basic bookkeeping

Complete external tax reporting, account reconciliation, voucher/receipt organisation, and comply with local tax regulations and the company's internal financial system efficiently

Read and interpret financial reports accurately and analyse financial conditions from report data to support company decision-making

Communicate flexibly, serve the owner's financial needs patiently, coordinate with external/internal parties, and adapt quickly to Chinese company work culture

About you

Bachelor's degree (S1) in Accounting, Taxation, or related field

Must actively Mandarin or English (spoken and written)

Uphold high professional ethics in finance, ensure financial and tax reports are accurate and compliant with law (anti-data manipulation)

Possess high responsibility and extra diligence in checking vouchers, accounts, and reporting to avoid data errors

Actively follow developments in Indonesian fiscal policy and changes in special incentives in Batam

Able to manage time and remain focused under work pressure, especially during month-end, quarter-end, or year-end closing periods

Must maintain strict confidentiality of company financial data and sensitive commercial information

Willing to be placed in Batam
