Job summary

Burger King Indonesia is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to oversee balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and monthly/quarterly reporting. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting, 2+ years in Big 4 or the food & beverage sector, strong Excel and SAP skills, and excellent communication abilities.

You will coordinate with auditors and help strengthen internal controls. Based in Jakarta, the position offers on-site work and growth opportunities within a global fast-food brand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• 2+ years of experience in Big 4 Audit or food & beverage industry.
• Strong accounting knowledge and concepts.
• Excellent quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and SAP.

• Ensure balance sheet accounts are reconciled and analyzed regularly.
• Perform fluctuation analysis on assigned accounts, research, resolve and document variances.
• Maintain and propose accruals when needed.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports.
• Liaise with auditors at quarterly review and year-end audit and provide supporting data.
• Evaluate current processes and internal controls; implement improvements.
• Prepare statutory accounts, both consolidated and stand-alone.

Job description

Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled and analyzed on a regular basis

Perform fluctuation analysis on assigned accounts, research, resolve, and document variances

Maintain and propose accruals when needed

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports

Liaise with auditors at quarterly review and year-end audit and prepare the necessary supporting data

Evaluate current processes and internal controls; make and implement recommendations for improvement

Prepare statutory accounts, both consolidated and stand-alone

Requirements:

Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

Having at least 2 years of experience in Big 4 Audit company or Food baverages Industry

Strong accounting skills, understanding of accounting principles and concepts

Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

Outstanding attention to detail with excellent organizational skills

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Proficiency in MS Excel and SAP

Ability to work independently
