Job summary

PT Setia Anugrah Medika, a health care company specializing in Laboratory Diagnostics, seeks an accounting staff to prepare and record journal entries, reconcile GL accounts, and manage AP/AR transactions. Based in Cikarang, you will support the monthly closing and prepare financial reports to meet deadlines.

The role requires 1–2 years of accounting experience, strong Excel and ERP skills, and knowledge of Indonesian tax rules (PPh, VAT).

Qualifications

• Minimum S1 degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in accounting, preferably as an accounting staff.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and the accounting cycle.
• Good knowledge of general ledger, journal entries, AP, AR, bank reconciliation, and month-end closing.
• Familiarity with Indonesian taxation (PPh and PPN/VAT).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with formulas and financial data analysis.
• ERP/accounting software experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries, including cash, bank, sales, purchases, expenses, accruals, and other general journal transactions.
• Maintain and reconcile General Ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of accounting records.
• Handle AP and AR transactions, including invoice verification, recording, reconciliation, and monitoring of outstanding balances.
• Perform bank reconciliation and account reconciliation on a regular basis.
• Prepare and maintain supporting schedules for accounting accounts and financial transactions.
• Assist in the monthly closing process, including account reconciliation, adjustment entries, accruals, and other closing activities.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and supporting schedules accurately and within deadlines.
• Reconcile budgets, expenses, and financial transactions to ensure consistency between accounting records and supporting documents.
• Monitor and verify supporting documents for financial transactions to ensure completeness, accuracy, and proper authorization.
• Perform accounting treatment and recording of transactions in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
• Prepare and support tax calculations and tax reporting, including PPh, PPN/VAT, and other applicable taxes.
• Coordinate with Finance, Purchasing, Sales, and other related departments regarding accounting transactions and supporting documents.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting and financial records for audit and reporting purposes.
• Assist with internal and external audit processes by providing accounting data, supporting documents, and explanations.
• Ensure all accounting records are properly maintained, accurate, and available when required by management.

Job description

Prepare and record journal entries, including cash, bank, sales, purchases, expenses, accruals, and other general journal transactions.

Maintain and reconcile General Ledger (GL) accounts and ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting records.

Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions, including invoice verification, recording, reconciliation, and monitoring of outstanding balances.

Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting and financial records for audit and reporting purposes.

Assist with internal and external audit processes by providing accounting data, supporting documents, and necessary explanations.

Ensure all accounting records are properly maintained, accurate, and available when required by management.

Requirements

Minimum S1 Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Accounting, preferably as an Accounting Staff or in a similar position.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and the accounting cycle.

Good understanding of General Ledger, journal entries, AP, AR, bank reconciliation, and month-end closing.

Good knowledge of financial reporting and financial statement preparation.

Good understanding of Indonesian taxation, particularly PPh and PPN/VAT.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work with formulas and financial data.

Familiarity with ERP/accounting software is highly preferred.

Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.

Accurate, organized, and able to work with a high volume of transactions.

Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with other departments.

Able to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.

High level of integrity, responsibility, and professionalism.

Willing to be placed in Cikarang.
