Job summary

Kargo Technologies in Jakarta, Indonesia, is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage end-to-end monthly closing, financial reporting, and variance analysis for a key entity. You will record daily transactions, prepare journal entries and accruals, perform reconciliations, and support audits and internal controls.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 3–5 years' experience, proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, and fluent English with strong analytical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and monthly closing processes.
• Hands-on experience in journal entries, accruals, account reconciliation, and variance analysis.
• Experience in bank reconciliation, financial transaction reconciliation, and AP processes.
• Experience in financial audits, including audit preparation, documentation, and coordination with auditors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, fluent English, with strong analytical skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end monthly closing and financial reporting, including variance analysis and BS listing updates.
• Ensure all daily accounting transactions and journal entries are accurately recorded.
• Maintain accounting records, including ledgers, journals, invoices, and supporting docs.
• Perform bank reconciliation and financial transaction reconciliation for accuracy.
• Prepare journal entries, working papers, accruals, and FX gain/loss calculations.
• Perform account reconciliation and financial controls for BS and P&L accounts.
• Manage end-to-end financial audit processes for at least one entity, including preparation and coordination with auditors.
