Job summary

Responsibilities

Role Description

The Accounting Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Surabaya. This role is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and maintaining accurate financial records and financial statements, including general ledger entries and monthly closing activities. The Accounting Officer will handle daily accounting operations such as accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense monitoring. The position also involves using accounting software to process transactions, supporting internal and external audits, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. The Accounting Officer will collaborate with finance and operational teams to provide financial data, analysis, and reports that support decision-making.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Finance and Accounting, with the ability to apply accounting principles in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Hands-on experience with Accounting Software and related tools for recording, tracking, and reporting financial data.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills to interpret financial information, identify variances, and support budgeting and forecasting.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in manufacturing or consumer products industries is an advantage.
