Job summary

Reece Global Ventures is seeking an experienced Accounting & Finance professional to join our team on a contract basis in Badung, Bali. You will manage key accounting functions, produce reliable financial information, and provide strategic insights to support business decisions.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in Accounting or Finance with 3–5 years in financial accounting, strong Excel and software skills, and familiarity with Indonesian regulations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIPFA) preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting roles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records including journals, ledgers, and reconciliations.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transations in a timely manner.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Manage general ledger accounts and ensure proper categorisation of transactions.
• Perform variance analysis and investigate deviations from budgets and forecasts.
• Support external audits by providing documentation and explanations.
• Maintain compliance with local regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
• Assist with management accounts and financial reports for stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.

About the role

Reece Global Ventures is seeking an experienced Accounting & Finance professional to join our team on a contract basis in Badung, Bali. This role plays a crucial part in our financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining robust accounting processes, and providing strategic financial insights to support our business objectives. You will be responsible for managing key accounting functions and delivering reliable financial information to support decision-making across the organisation.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, including journals, ledgers, and reconciliations

Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely and efficient manner

Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards

Conducting bank reconciliations and investigating discrepancies

Managing general ledger accounts and ensuring proper categorisation of transactions

Performing variance analysis and investigating deviations from budgets and forecasts

Supporting the external audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations

Maintaining compliance with local regulatory requirements and accounting regulations

Assisting with the preparation of management accounts and financial reports for stakeholders

What we're looking for

Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

Professional accounting qualification (such as ACCA, CIPFA, or equivalent) is preferred

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting roles

Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with advanced spreadsheet skills

Solid understanding of IFRS or local accounting standards and regulatory requirements

Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy and compliance

Experience in financial statement preparation and reconciliation processes

Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and provide financial insights

Effective communication skills with the ability to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Familiarity with Indonesian accounting regulations is advantageous
