Job summary

Indonesia Defence Services is seeking an Accounting Assistant Manager to support the FAT Manager in overseeing daily accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting in line with PSAK and Indonesian tax regulations. You will assist with general ledger, AP/AR, fixed assets, and tax reporting using e-Faktur/e-Bupot/e-SPT, while supervising staff and contributing to the closing processes.

Strong Excel skills and meticulous attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and advanced data analysis.
• Good understanding of PSAK and Indonesian taxation practices.
• Experience with Indonesian tax reporting tools (e-Faktur, e-Bupot, e-SPT).
• High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily accounting activities including General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and Fixed Assets.
• Prepare, review, and analyze journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian tax regulations (VAT, withholding taxes such as PPh 21/23/25/4(2)).
• Prepare and review tax reports using e-Faktur, e-Bupot, and e-SPT systems.
• Coordinate with tax consultants and external auditors.
• Prepare management reports and financial analysis using Microsoft Excel.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation of accounting records.
• Support improvement of accounting SOPs, internal controls, and processes.
• Supervise and guide accounting staff as required.
