Job summary

HUMAN ASSIST INDONESIA, on behalf of a client in the energy sector, seeks an experienced Accountant in Indonesia to manage daily accounting operations, financial reporting and tax compliance, delivering accurate records across projects. You will prepare journal entries, perform cost accounting, budgeting, bank reconciliations and liaise with the China headquarters to submit reports on time.

Mandarin proficiency is required to process Chinese documents and communicate in daily work situations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Mandarin proficiency to process Chinese documents and daily work comms.
• Understanding of Indonesian accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Experience in financial reporting, cost accounting, budgeting, and bank reconciliations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
• Oil and gas sector experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, confidential, and trustworthy.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain records.
• Prepare journal entries and financial statements.
• Perform cost accounting, review expenses, and monitor budgets.
• Handle tax filings, bank reconciliations, and settlements.
• Coordinate with China HQ finance team for deadlines.
• Liaise with auditors and tax consultants for Indonesian compliance.
• Perform other finance duties as assigned.
