Job summary

Novotel Bali Ubud Resort in Bali, Indonesia is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to ensure timely, accurate payments and proper posting of transactions in accordance with approved policies. You will code invoices, attach supporting documents, obtain required approvals, post journal entries, process manual cheques and schedule electronic payments.

If you thrive in a guest-focused, team-driven environment, you will contribute to accurate financial records and help maintain strong supplier

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting/Finance is required.
• Minimum 1 year of accounting/payables experience.
• Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and accounting software.
• Service-oriented with attention to detail.
• Able to work effectively in a team.
• Self-motivated and energetic.
• Well-presented and groomed.

Responsibilities

• Process payments accurately and timely per policies.
• Code invoices, post to system, attach documents.
• Obtain approvals from relevant Department Heads.
• Post journal entries from Cost Control/Receiving.
• Post manual cheques into the system.
• Schedule electronic payments per policies.
• Post expenses and accruals monthly.
• Reconcile AP aging with GL.

Job Description

• This position is responsibleforensuringthatpayments are made in a timely and accuratemanneraccording to approved policies & procedures. He/she also ensures thatall relevant records are completed and accurately posted.
• Ensurethatinvoices are correctly coded,posted into system, andadequately attached with relevant documents such as PurchasesOrders,Banquet Event Ordersetc
• Ensurethatall payment requisitions are approved by relevant Department Heads or Division Heads
• Ensurethatjournal entriesinterfacedfrom Cost Control/Receiving Office are correct
• Post allmanualchequesinto the system
• Schedule and makeelectronic payment according to approved policies & procedures
• Ensurethatall expenses for the month are posted and necessary accruals made
• EnsurethatAccountsPayableaging tally with GeneralLedger

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 yearofexperiencein a similar capacity
