Job summary

FOOM LAB GLOBAL is seeking a 3D & Industrial Designer to develop functional, visually appealing, and production-ready designs for compact consumer products. You will manage the design process from concept development and 3D modeling to prototyping and production preparation, while handling all product information with confidentiality.

The role requires creating sketches, models, renderings, and detailed drawings; translating concepts into manufacturable designs and collaborating with Product

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Mechanical Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience in 3D modeling and industrial product design.
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks is required.
• Experience designing compact consumer products such as toys, stationery, writing instruments, accessories, or other small products is preferred.
• Strong understanding of product proportions, ergonomics, materials, manufacturing processes, and assembly.
• Familiar with prototyping and design-for-manufacturing principles.
• Proficiency in rendering or visualization tools such as KeyShot, Blender, or similar software is an advantage.
• Able to create clear technical drawings and communicate design intent effectively.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and capable of balancing aesthetics with functionality.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating concept development, 3D modeling, and production-ready product design.
• Able to collaborate effectively in a fast paced and confidential product development environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure design quality, consistency, functionality, and manufacturability.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding product concepts, specifications, and development plans.
