Job summary

Dinar Makmur is seeking a Staff Design Engineer to drive concept-to-production design for innovative packaging products. You will develop and modify 2D/3D models, create precise drawings, and apply DFM principles while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of design engineering experience, proficiency in CAD (ZW3D, SolidWorks, CATIA or equivalent), and a strong foundation in product development and materials such as EPP/EPS.

Qualifications

Minimum D3 in Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or other related fields.
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Design Engineer or in a related role.
Able to create and interpret 2D & 3D technical drawings.
Knowledge of EPP/EPS materials is an advantage.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Willing to conduct production trials and visit customers/suppliers when required.

Responsibilities

Develop and modify product designs based on customer and production requirements.
Prepare and maintain accurate 2D & 3D technical drawings.
Support product development activities from concept through production.
Analyze trial results and implement design improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and manufacturability.
Provide technical support during production trials and customer discussions.
