VisualDart is seeking an Environment Artist to join our team in crafting immersive game environments. You will transform concepts into high-quality 3D assets, with a focus on lightweight, game-ready assets derived from real-world scanning data.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in 3D game art, strong concept art understanding, and the ability to integrate feedback from clients and art directors while maintaining deadlines across multiple projects.

Environment Artist

VisualDart is looking for creative and passionate Environment Artists to join our team! If you love creating immersive game environments and turning concepts into high-quality 3D assets, we’d love to hear from you.

Requirements

• Proficiency in 3ds Max, Maya, ZBrush, and Substance 3D
• Experience organizing and processing 3D scanning data (e.g. historical ruins) and optimizing it into lightweight, game-ready assets
• Strong understanding of concept art, references, and visual details
• Hand-drawing skills are a plus

• Strong attention to detail and artistic vision
• Passionate and motivated about games
• Able to adapt quickly and conduct independent research
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Able to understand client feedback and make revisions accordingly
• Good time management and ability to meet deadlines across multiple projects

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in 3D game art
• Experience creating game-ready environment assets
• Experience with 3D scanning, photogrammetry, or asset optimization
