Job summary

The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups (HKFYG) is seeking a Research Officer for the Youth Research Centre. You will lead independent research on youth development and social policy, manage project design, data analysis, and reporting, and disseminate findings through various channels.

You will coordinate with think tanks, present at external forums, and translate insights into actionable policy recommendations while ensuring research remains grounded in young people’s lived experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in conducting and managing research initiatives.
• Strong foundation in quantitative and qualitative research methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead independent, high-impact research projects on youth development and social policy.
• Moderate and engage a network of think tank members for policy discussions and research output.
• Lead press briefings and disseminate research findings across platforms.
• Represent the organization in external forums and stakeholder meetings.
• Design and execute engagement activities to ground research in youth lived experiences.
