Job summary

Aurecon in Hong Kong is looking for a qualified Site Supervisor to join our Built Environment team. You will supervise contractors, oversee the construction and improvement of building services installations, and help deliver complex projects across schools, data centres, residential and commercial developments.

You will bring a HK Certificate in Building Services or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and complete mandatory safety courses.

Qualifications

• Certificate holder in Building Services, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, HK accredited.
• Completed mandatory safety and construction-site trainings listed below.
• Experience supervising building services installations on-site.

Responsibilities

• Supervise contractors in construction, maintenance and improvement of building services installations.

What will you do?

In this position, you will join our Hong Kong Built Environment business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of Built Environment projects such as schools, data centres, residential and commercial development and a variety of Government projects.

• supervising contractors employed in construction, maintenance and improvement of building services installations;

• taking measurements at sites; and

• performing related technical duties.

What can you bring to the team?

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imaging engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need:

• Certificate in Building Services or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a Hong Kong Polytechnic University / Polytechnic, the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational

• Completed the below courses:

• Certified Worker Training Course for Confined Spaces

• Attained the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in English Language in the HKDSEE or HKCEE, or equivalent; and Secondary 3 standard or above in Chinese Languages, or equivalent;

• At least three (5) years relevant post-qualification local experience of site supervision of building services installations

• Construction Industry Safety Card Course (Green Card)

• Safety and Health Supervisor (Construction Course)

• Basic Accident Prevention Course
