Job summary

Aurecon Hong Kong is seeking a Mechanical Building Services engineer to join our growing Hong Kong Built Environment business. You will contribute to a team that brings ideas to life for diverse projects including schools, data centres, casinos, and government facilities.

You should have 3–5 years’ experience in Mechanical and Building Services, be able to produce sound designs independently, and communicate effectively with clients and authorities.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years’ relevant experience in Mechanical and Building Services disciplines.
  • Ability to produce sound designs independently with commitment to quality.
  • Proficient in English and Chinese (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Building Services Mechanical/ P&ID/ Fire design, calculations, reports and specifications.
  • Site supervision and attendance at meetings for development and/or mission critical projects.
  • Communicate effectively with internal team, clients, architects, contractors and authorities from concept to detail design and construction administration.

In this position, you will join our growing Hong Kong Built Environment business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of Built Environment projects such as schools, data centres, casinos and a variety of Government projects.

  • Responsible for Building Services Mechanical/ P&D/ Fire design, calculations, reports, specifications and etc;
  • Site supervision, attend meetings for building development and/or mission critical projects; and
  • Communicate effectively with internal team, Clients, Architects, Contractors and Authorities from concept to detail design and construction administration.

What can you bring to the team?

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imaging engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You should also possess:

  • Degree holder in Mechanical/BS Engineering or equivalent;
  • 3-5 years’ relevant experience in Mechanical and Building Services disciplines;
  • Ability to produce sound designs independently with commitment to quality;
  • Ability to communicate with Clients, Authorities, Contractors, Architects, etc.;
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese;
  • Good organization and project management skills;
  • Self-motivated and ambitious individuals with desire to strive for excellence; and
  • Proficient with digital design tools such as REVIT, Bluebeam and Navisworks will be highly regarded.
