Job summary

潮州腾瑞皇冠假日酒店 is seeking an experienced culinary professional to lead kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality dishes are prepared according to standard recipes. The role involves guiding kitchen helpers and coordinating in advance preparation of food, beverages, materials, and equipment for service.

The incumbent will maintain product knowledge across ingredients, equipment, suppliers, markets and trends and communicate issues to superiors to continuously improve operations.

Qualifications

• Vocational Certificate in Culinary Skills or related field.
• 1 year related experience or formal training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Maintain comprehensive product knowledge including ingredients, equipment, suppliers, markets, and current trends and make recommendations for appropriate adjustments to kitchen operations accordingly.
• Provides direction to the Kitchen helpers, including Commis, Cooks, Kitchen Attendants and Stewards.
• Produces food of high quality according to standard recipes.
• Communicates to his/her superior any difficulties, guest or internal customer comment and other relevant information.
• Prepares in advance food, beverage, material and equipment needed for the service.
