Job summary

King Deux Search & Consulting is seeking an organized Assistant PR Manager to support the PR Manager in developing and executing strategic PR initiatives. You will manage media relations, draft press materials, plan events, and monitor sentiment to protect the company’s reputation.

The ideal candidate has a PR background, 3 years of experience in PR or Web3/crypto, and strong English and Chinese communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or a related field.
• 3 years’ work experience in public relations or solid knowledge in Web3 and crypto.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
• Proficiency in crafting compelling press releases and other PR materials.
• Knowledge of social media platforms and their role in PR strategies.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Familiarity with crisis communication and issues management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing comprehensive PR strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
• Conduct research and stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and media landscape changes.
• Collaborate with the PR Manager to plan and execute PR campaigns and initiatives.
• Monitor public sentiment and identify potential risks or opportunities for the company's reputation.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media contacts, journalists, and influencers.
• Draft press releases, media kits, and other PR materials in coordination with the PR Manager.
• Pitch stories and secure media coverage across various platforms to promote the company and its initiatives.
• Coordinate and facilitate media interviews, press conferences, and other media-related events.
• Assist in creating engaging and impactful content for press releases, articles, speeches, and other PR collateral.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information and insights for content development.
• Ensure all content adheres to the company's brand voice, messaging, and style guidelines.
• Proofread and edit PR materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
• Support the planning and execution of PR events, including product launches, press conferences, and media tours.
• Coordinate logistics, such as venue selection, invitations, audiovisual equipment, and catering.
• Assist in managing media attendance, interviews, and on-site media relations during events.
• Evaluate the success of events and provide recommendations for future improvements.
• Assist in managing and responding to PR crises or issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Monitor and address negative publicity or misinformation on social media platforms and other channels.
