Job summary

Acton Consulting Limited is assisting a sizable Fintech in Hong Kong to recruit an Assistant Operations Manager for Banking Systems (Clearing and Settlement). You will help plan, coordinate and implement new initiatives within the ePayment team.

You will liaise with internal teams and external partners (HKMA, HKAB, clearing banks) to define processes and documents, and prepare cross-departmental briefings for banks and financial institutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in business administration, banking or finance or information technology related disciplines.
• 2 to 3 years' experience in financial sector with ePayment operations.
• Relevant experience in project management and drafting of procedural and/or legal documents, or prior exposure to product/operation management in financial institutions and/or clearing and settlement systems is an advantage.
• Strong business analytical and project management skills
• Good command of written English and Chinese, and fluency in spoken English and Putonghua
• Able to work under pressure to meet the tight timelines

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating and managing the implementation of new initiatives or services enhancements
• Liaise with internal teams to clarify system design and to plan the operational processes and contingency arrangements
• Liaise with external parties, e.g. the HKMA, HKAB, the settlement institutions or clearing banks, banks/participants, business partners and legal advisers, etc., in devising the above-mentioned documents
• Compile presentation materials and conduct cross-departmental briefings or external briefings for banks or financial institutions to facilitate the implementation of new initiatives or services enhancements
