Job summary

Global Sports Jobs Limited is seeking individuals to support food and beverage operations across multiple Clubhouses and racecourse venues. The role emphasizes delivering excellent service to Members and guests, serving and replenishing beverages, and setting and resetting tables in a fast-paced club environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years in hospitality, sound etiquette knowledge, tableside service basics, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' related restaurant experience.
• Knowledge of restaurant etiquette.
• Tableside service knowledge.
• Good customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Support Food and Beverage operations and provide excellent service to Members and guests.
• Serve food and beverages promptly; replenish water and beverages and take additional orders as needed.
• Set tables with tableware, decorations, condiments and napkins; remove used tableware and consumable items and reset tables for the next customer.
• Maintain adequate tableware and consumable items to support daily operations.
• Keep the workstation tidy, clean, hygienic and safe at all times.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

About the Role

The role supports food and beverage operations within the Catering Department, providing excellent service to Members and guests. The Catering Department manages one of Hong Kong's largest and most diverse catering operations, with facilities across three Clubhouses and at Happy Valley and Sha Tin Racecourses. The role involves serving food and beverages, setting and resetting tables, maintaining service areas, and supporting daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Food and Beverage operations and provide excellent service to Members and guests.
• Serve food and beverages promptly; replenish water and beverages and take additional orders as needed.
• Set tables with tableware, decorations, condiments and napkins; remove used tableware and consumable items and reset tables for the next customer.
• Maintain adequate tableware and consumable items to support daily operations.
• Keep the workstation tidy, clean, hygienic and safe at all times.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years' related restaurant experience gained in hotels, clubs or restaurants.
• Sound knowledge of restaurant etiquette.
• Basic knowledge of tableside service, food, wine, beer, liquor, sake, Chinese wine, etc.
• Good customer service skills, with a patient and friendly manner and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to pay attention to detail and to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Good communication skills in English.

Preferred Skills

• Cantonese and Mandarin proficiency.
