Job summary

The Hong Kong Jockey Club invites an experienced hospitality professional to support its Catering Department across multiple Clubhouses, happy valley and Sha Tin venues. You will help deliver top-tier food and beverage service for Members and guests, coach staff, and promote facilities and programmes within a dynamic environment.

About the Role

The role supports the Catering Department in delivering food and beverage operation and service excellence for Members and guests across the Club's catering facilities. The Catering Department manages one of the largest and most diverse catering operations in Hong Kong, providing catering, sports and recreation facilities for Members and guests in three Clubhouses and at the Happy Valley and Sha Tin Racecourses. The position sits within the Membership and Customer Excellence Division, which oversees clubhouses, racecourses and customer experience across digital and physical touchpoints. The role involves coaching staff, maintaining SOP compliance, promoting facilities and coordinating marketing programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure food and beverage operation and service excellence for Members and guests.
• Assist senior management in managing staff compliance with SOP requirements and service standards, especially when SOP changes are implemented.
• Coach new staff and trainees to maintain established service standards, achieve continuous improvement, and help colleagues align with the Club's culture.
• Promote facilities and services to Members.
• Collect relevant food and beverage comments to pass to the culinary team for follow-up and future menu planning.
• Coordinate the delivery of marketing programmes and promotional materials.
• Manage the promotional counter during festive seasons.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• At least 3 years' relevant experience in clubs or hotels.
• Can-do attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Chinese.
