Blackstone is seeking a high-impact Vice President to join its Corporate Recruiting team, responsible for delivering critical talent across corporate functions including Legal, Compliance, Finance and Corporate Affairs as well as Private Wealth. In this role, the individual will operate as a strategic partner to senior leadership, owning the end-to-end recruitment strategy and execution for a broad and complex portfolio of hires. The role plays a key part in shaping talent decisions, advising on market dynamics, and ensuring the firm continues to attract and secure top-tier talent in highly competitive markets. This is a highly visible position requiring strong judgment, executive presence, and the experience to balance speed, quality, and stakeholder alignment in a highly dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Own the full lifecycle recruiting process across APAC for a varied portfolio of corporate-function and Private Wealth roles, spanning all levels of hires. Develop and continuously refine forward-looking recruiting strategies aligned with regional hiring demand, business priorities and broader global objectives. Lead recruitment from workforce planning, market mapping and targeted sourcing through candidate assessment, offer negotiation and onboarding. Partner directly with senior leaders across APAC and global headquarters to shape hiring priorities, calibrate talent and influence decision-making. Act as a trusted advisor on talent availability, compensation trends, competitive positioning, regional hiring practices and organizational design considerations. Challenge assumptions and provide objective, data-driven recommendations that balance speed, quality, commercial priorities and risk. Serve as an APAC market expert, delivering actionable insights on talent trends, competitor activity, compensation benchmarks and candidate dynamics. Build and proactively manage talent pipelines for current and future needs, particularly within competitive and niche talent pools. Maintain strong external connectivity through professional networks, industry relationships and search-firm partnerships across the region. Lead a high-touch, detail-oriented recruiting process that provides a seamless and differentiated experience for candidates and hiring stakeholders. Partner with HR, Compensation and other stakeholders to structure competitive offers and support successful candidate engagement and conversion. Use recruiting metrics and funnel data to assess performance, identify risks and bottlenecks, and improve hiring outcomes. Drive improvements to recruiting processes, tools and workflows while maintaining process discipline, operational excellence and appropriate risk management. Foster collaboration across Human Resources, business leadership and global Talent Acquisition teams, contributing to regional and global initiatives and sharing market knowledge and best practices.

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of full lifecycle Talent Acquisition and/or Executive Search experience, gained through in-house recruiting, an executive search firm or a combination of both.
  • Demonstrated financial services recruiting experience, preferably within private markets, alternative investments, asset management, or another buy-side environment.
  • Experience recruiting across corporate functions such as Legal, Compliance and Corporate Affairs as well as Private Wealth, including senior and complex mandates.
  • Strong knowledge of APAC talent markets and regional hiring practices, with experience partnering effectively with senior regional stakeholders and global headquarters.
  • A proven record of attracting and closing high-caliber candidates in competitive markets.
  • Excellent stakeholder-management, influencing, communication and relationship-building skills, supported by strong executive presence and commercial judgment.
  • Experience managing external search firms and recruitment partners, including maintaining effective market relationships.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and experience using recruiting data and market intelligence to inform strategy and decision‑making.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and experience in managing multiple priorities across functions and geographies in a dynamic environment.
  • Full professional fluency in English; additional Asian language capabilities would be advantageous.
  • To maintain the highest levels of confidentiality, professionalism and discretion.
