Job summary

Chong Hing Bank Limited in Hong Kong seeks an experienced IT leader to manage complex projects, driving design, development, testing, implementation and documentation of IT systems. You will guide a team to ensure quality, timeliness, and regulatory compliance while maintaining production platforms for operational continuity.

The role emphasizes stakeholder collaboration, vendor management, and coaching to strengthen technical and business knowledge within a dynamic banking environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
• 10+ years IT experience with at least 5 years in management.
• Proven experience in large-scale project management and system implementation.
• Strong background in vendor management, tendering and contract negotiation.
• Knowledge of SWIFT, RTGS, FPS payment systems is preferred.
• Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Putonghua).

Responsibilities

• Manage IT projects and enhancements to ensure deliverables meet requirements in quality, compliance, risk management, timeliness, and budget.
• Lead the team in design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation of IT systems.
• Continuously improve and maintain IT platforms with reliable quality to support Business and Operation Units in achieving their goals.
• Enhance, maintain, and support production platforms to ensure operational continuity.
• Communicate with Business Units to collect requirements, recommend effective solutions, and perform analysis, design, coding, testing, and implementation.
• Supervise the application team to ensure high-quality development aligned with IT management standards and project schedules.
• Make system modifications to meet regulatory requirements from authorities such as HKMA.
• Provide training and coaching to team members to strengthen technical and business knowledge.
