Job summary

DBS Bank’s Risk Management Group in Hong Kong seeks a senior professional to lead operational risk initiatives and strengthen risk governance. You will develop and implement comprehensive frameworks, collaborate with stakeholders, and oversee risk reporting to ensure regulatory alignment.

The role requires deep analytical skills, strong communication, and hands-on use of data tools (QlikSense, PowerBI, Tableau) to drive data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Risk, Legal, IT, Accounting, Finance or business-related discipline required.
• 10+ years in operational risk management or internal control functions for VP level, 6+ years for AVP, with regulatory knowledge and best practices.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing risk management frameworks and solutions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex operational risks.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities to influence cross-functional teams.
• Proficient with risk management tools and data analytics to support decision-making.
• Knowledge of AI/ML techniques and hands-on experience with generative AI tools.
• Experience with data analysis tools (QlikSense, PowerBI, Tableau) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive operational risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures across the organization.
• Provide subject matter guidance on best practices in operational risk management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective risk reporting, escalation, and governance.
• Conduct risk assessments and root cause analyses to address identified operational risks.
• Oversee implementation of operational risk management tools and data-driven decision-making.
• Contribute to development of operational resilience capabilities.
• Design and deliver training programs to raise risk awareness across the organization.
