Job summary

Citi in Hong Kong is seeking an Application Support Technical Lead for its Cash Equities desk. Based on the Hong Kong trading floor, you will lead end-to-end incident management, capacity planning, and governance across a critical application stack.

You will deputize for the APAC Cash Equities Production management head and drive strategic delivery with senior desks and offshore partners. Ideal candidates have 15+ years in Global Markets, strong Linux/Java skills, and proven leadership in apps

Qualifications

• 15+ years relevant experience supporting Global Markets.
• Strong technical understanding of Linux/Java based systems.
• Senior apps support with people management experience.
• Experience with FIX protocol and electronic execution platforms.
• Experience in capacity planning and incident management.
• Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Improve service level by optimizing incident management and knowledge sharing.
• Guide development teams on stability and supportability improvements.
• Formulate framework for capacity, throughput and latency management.
• Define onboarding guidelines and standards for applications.
• Mentor team members to maximize potential in a highly integrated environment.
• Drive cost reductions via root cause analysis, knowledge management, and training.
• Participate in business reviews aligning tech tools with business needs.
• Ensure compliance with support processes and best practices across the program.
• Engage with senior stakeholders and external parties as needed.
• Oversee offshore managed services and vendor relationships.
