Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in Hong Kong is seeking an Application Support Technical Lead for Cash Equities. You will be based on the Hong Kong trading floor and lead incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement across the application stack to ensure reliable client services.

The role requires deep knowledge of Linux/Java systems, FIX protocol, and Electronic Execution Platform, with strong stakeholder management and project leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• 15+ years relevant experience supporting Global Markets.
• Strong Linux/Java based systems knowledge.
• Experience supporting FIX protocol.
• Senior stakeholder management experience.
• Project management with demonstrable IT service improvements.
• Capacity planning/forecasting exposure is a plus.
• Experience managing Electronic Execution Platform is mandatory.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Improve the service level the team provides to end users, including incident management and knowledge sharing.
• Guide development teams on stability and supportability improvements.
• Formulate and implement a framework for managing capacity, throughput and latency.
• Define onboarding guidelines and standards for applications.
• Coach team members to maximize potential in a highly integrated environment.
• Drive cost reductions and efficiencies via RCA, knowledge management and training.
• Participate in business review meetings aligning tech tools with business requirements.
• Ensure adherence to support processes and improve overall best practices.
• Negotiate with senior leaders and manage vendor relationships.
