Job summary

Huatai International Financial Holdings Company Limited is seeking an experienced FICC trader to hedge execution for offshore and onshore clients, leveraging IRS, CCS, and other hedging instruments across credit bonds, rates, and FX. The role requires deep cross-border market knowledge and strong collaboration with sales, structuring, and liquidity providers.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of FICC trading experience, fluency in Mandarin and English, and hands-on familiarity with Bloomberg,

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field (CFA/FRM a plus).
10+ years of experience in FICC trading, with demonstrated expertise in credit bonds, interest rate/FX products, and derivatives.
Familiarity with major offshore trading systems (Bloomberg, Tradeweb, MarketAxess, Murex/Calypso, etc.) is required.
Strong learning agility, communication skills, and team collaboration spirit. Ability to maintain clear judgment and efficient execution under pressure.
Fluency in Mandarin and English (required for internal/external communication).

Responsibilities

Responsible for hedging execution on behalf of clients across FICC Structured products, including offshore USD bonds, Dim Sum bonds, AT1, CB/EB etc. Skillfully deploy IRS, CCS, and other FX and interest rate hedging instruments to manage portfolio liquidity and risk exposure.
Depth proficiency in cross-border investment channels (Bond Connect, QDII/RQDII, Cross-Boundary WM Connect, etc.) to identify cross-asset, cross-currency trading opportunities for onshore clients investing in offshore markets.
Maintain strong partnerships with counterparties, brokers, and liquidity providers. RFQ processes and price comparisons to secure liquidity for trade execution.
Contribute to the continuous improvement and innovation of trading systems and electronic trading platforms; lead efforts to integrate multi-channel trading workflows.
Work closely with Sales and structuring team to market products to institutional investors, corporations, and hedge funds; facilitate the entire trade execution process.
