Job summary

Kody is seeking a visionary VP of Engineering to lead our technical organization through a high-velocity growth phase. You will set the engineering vision, shape architecture, and ensure scalable, secure platforms while aligning with product, design, and operations to execute the roadmap.

You will build and mentor a world-class team, establish engineering culture, and drive delivery, quality, and observability. Expect a fast-paced environment with global impact and equity participation.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years in engineering leadership, fintech/scale-up experience preferred.
• Proven track record leading distributed engineering teams at high-growth tech companies.
• Deep technical expertise across modern architectures and cloud platforms.
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment, development, and retention of an engineering organization.
• Define and execute the engineering vision in partnership with exec and product leadership.
• Drive scalable, secure growth of platforms and services.
• Ensure timely, high-quality delivery across all teams.
• Establish KPIs for code quality, system stability, and deployment efficiency.
• Foster mentorship and career development within the team.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Operations on roadmaps.
