Guangdong Finance Investment International Co., Limited in Hong Kong seeks an Investment Business Manager / Senior Manager to oversee portfolios and client accounts across HK and A-share markets, delivering targeted returns through proven investment strategies.

You will lead research across macroeconomics, policy changes, industry cycles, and financial indicators, build models, conduct due diligence on external funds, and coordinate fundraising for asset management products with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in asset management.
• Strong knowledge of investment strategies and risk management.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field.
• RO of SFC Asset Management license, CFA or FRM is a plus.

Description du poste

Manage investment portfolios or clients’ accounts in various secondary equity markets (mainly HK market and A-share market) through tried and proved investment strategies. Achieve relative or absolute investment return targets;

Provide research support for investment strategies from multiple perspectives, including macroeconomics, international relations, policy changes, industry cycles, style rotation, business models, valuation systems, and financial indicators;

Develop and implement sound investment strategies based on financial modeling, data fitting, back testing and return forcasting. Determine environmental conditions and empirical implementation of the strategies with proper risk control indicators;

Learn and familiarize with various investment strategies, conduct due diligence on external mutual and private secondary market equity funds, match with client needs, and provide investment recommendations;

Communicate with clients about investment objectives and subsequent investment returns. Determines a client’s appropriate level of risk based on the client's time horizon, risk preferences, return expectations, and market conditions;

Based on the above mentioned job responsibilities, cooperate and work as a team with colleagues from other departments to provide investment and research support;

Bring in new clients and assets, organize the fundraising of the company’s asset management products, and coordinate sales efforts.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in finance or a relevant field from an accredited institution;

RO of SFC Asset management license, CFA or FRM certificate will be a plus;

Minimum of 10 years working experience in asset management, proven experience in investment and financial assets management as an analyst or assistant manager in a financial institution;

Strong understanding of investment strategies and risk management particularly as it relates to China A shares;

Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Chinese.
