Job summary

Our client, an international asset management house operating across the Asia Pacific, seeks a senior portfolio specialist to serve as the voice of the investment team in client meetings, due diligence, and conferences. You will partner with distribution to drive asset growth across institutional and intermediary channels and contribute to product strategy based on market trends and client feedback.

Fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin and English is essential, and you will collaborate with portfolio

Qualifications

• Degree holder with at least 10 years in portfolio/senior investment roles.
• Strong equity asset knowledge and market insight.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.

Responsibilities

• Represent the investment team in client meetings, due diligence sessions and industry conferences.

• Provide ongoing updates on investment philosophy, process and performance to sales teams, clients, prospects and consultants.

• Develop and execute sales campaigns with marketing support; work with colleagues to achieve regional sales goals.

Primarily focusing on the Greater China region. Serve as the voice of the investment team in client meetings, due diligence sessions, and industry conferences. Partner with distribution teams to drive asset growth and retention across institutional and intermediary channels. Contribute to product development and positioning strategies based on market trends and client feedback. Provide sales teams, clients, prospects and consultants with ongoing updates about the investment philosophy, process, and performance of products in assigned asset class and act as primary contact when appropriate. Participate in investing strategy meetings with portfolio managers. Collaborate with other product specialists and other investment professionals to establish and implement the investment management business plans and strategies. Develop and execute sales campaigns with the support of the marketing team. Working with colleagues to achieve regional sales goals

To be considered, you should be a degree holder with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a portfolio specialist, client portfolio manager, fund manager, investment director or similar role. Strong equity asset class, strategy and market knowledge together with excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Knowledge of asset management and sophisticated investment vehicles, a comprehensive understanding of investment strategy and philosophy, business acumen, analytical, sound judgment. Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
