ALL-STAR AGENCY in Hong Kong seeks a Vice President, Credit Analyst to join the Credit Analysis team, responsible for end-to-end credit risk management across a diverse corporate loan portfolio.

The role combines rigorous financial analysis with hands-on collaboration with business teams to support sound, profitable growth, including cash flow analysis, sensitivity testing, and scenario planning across lending, structured finance, and trade finance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of solid credit analysis experience covering medium to large corporates.
• MBA preferred or equivalent business qualification.
• Knowledge of structured products and trade finance is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review credit applications with cash flow analysis, sensitivity testing, and scenario planning.
• Partner with Relationship Managers to provide timely credit and risk advisory support.
• Support client-facing activities and credit responsibilities; participate in meetings and site visits.
• Conduct daily portfolio monitoring, including performance tracking and forward-looking risk assessments.
• Ensure credit policies and grading systems align with evolving market conditions and regulatory requirements.
• Review loan documentation for alignment with internal standards and regulations.
• Contribute to enhancements of credit frameworks, systems and policy infrastructure.
• Support regulatory and internal audits (HKMA, BOJ, JFSA) and audits.

With a continued growth in the region, a corporate bank is seeking to hire a Vice President, Credit Analyst, to join the Credit Analysis team to be responsible for end-to-end credit risk management across a diverse corporate loan portfolio. This role combines rigorous financial analysis with hands-on collaboration with business teams to support sound, profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review new and renewal credit applications, incorporating cash flow analysis, sensitivity testing, and scenario planning
• Partner with Relationship Managers from the Large Corporate Banking Department to provide timely, actionable credit and risk advisory support
• Support client-facing activities alongside core credit responsibilities; participating in client meetings, calls, and site visits as needed, and working closely with Corporate Banking Dept to assist relationship management and business origination from a credit analysis standpoint
• Conduct daily portfolio monitoring, including performance tracking and forward-looking risk assessments
• Ensure credit policies and grading systems remain responsive to evolving market conditions and emerging risks
• Review loan documentation to confirm alignment with internal credit standards and regulatory requirements
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the Bank's credit frameworks, systems, and policy infrastructure
• Support regulatory and internal audits, including engagements with HKMA, BOJ, JFSA, and internal/external auditors
• Collaborate with Marketing Units on transaction structuring and portfolio monitoring, ensuring adherence to risk appetite and regulatory guidelines
• Evaluate banking solutions across bank's full product platform—including lending, structured finance, treasury products, and trade/structured transactions such as ARP—by analyzing deal structures and associated credit risks from a credit perspective

What We're Looking For:

• University degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or Economics; MBA preferred
• 7+ years of solid credit analysis experience, covering medium to large corporates and diverse lending products
• Knowledge of structured products and trade finance (e.g., ARP, trade transactions) is a strong plus
• Client-facing or relationship management experience is advantageous
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills in English and Chinese
