Job summary

Hong Kong Exchange is seeking an experienced technology leader to head Cloud Platform Services as Vice President, Cloud Operations. You will own end-to-end production for cloud platforms across AWS, Alibaba Cloud and GCP, ensuring stability, security and regulatory compliance for critical applications.

In this role, you will drive automation and Infrastructure-as-Code, oversee incident and change management, manage vendor relationships and partner with engineering, security and risk teams to

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Proven production support experience with enterprise cloud platforms.
• Strong knowledge of incident, change, capacity and lifecycle management.
• Hands-on understanding of IaC, cloud security, IAM and networking.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Cloud Operations team to ensure day-to-day operation of cloud platforms.
• Ensure availability, stability, performance, security and resilience of critical apps.
• Establish observability with monitoring, logging, alerting and dashboards.
• Govern capacity planning, quotas and performance for key workloads.
• Oversee platform lifecycle, patching and upgrades; manage end-of-life risks.
• Lead major incident and problem management with root-cause analysis.
• Maintain change, release and production-readiness controls.
• Drive IaC and automation adoption; collaborate with Cloud Engineering.
