Job summary

HR Plus is seeking a Vice President for Advanced Solutions and Services to lead Cyber Security and Unified Communications initiatives in a global telecom group. The role focuses on driving growth, overseeing a team of technical consultants, and shaping security services across the organization.

Applicants should have 12+ years in ICT, strong presales experience in cyber security, and excellent English/Cantonese communication. The package includes a competitive remuneration and a five-day week.

Qualifications

• Degree or above in Computer Science, CyberSecurity, Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 12 years of ICT/IT experience with presales in Cyber Security.
• Strong business acumen with KPI drive; security certifications are an advantage.
• Good people management, analytical mindset and project leadership ability.
• Fluent in English and Cantonese, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technical consultants to support presales activities including design, BOM, and tender responses.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to tailor solutions to customer needs.
• Participate in presales activities, review requirements, and propose best-fit solutions.
• Lead design and planning of new services and enhancement of existing offerings.
• Research new technologies and evaluate standards and regulatory guidance.
• Develop security architecture artifacts for cross-team use.
• Take a leadership role to expand CyberSecurity services across the group.

Our client:

Our client is a well-established telecommunication company with a global presence. They are looking for Vice President, Advanced Solutions and Services (Cyber Security and Unified Communication) to join their team.

The successful candidate will be a key member of Cyber Security Business management team for the group, responsible to drive and support of the growth of the company in Cyber Security and other emerging technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of technical consultants / specialists to support presales activities including technical presentation, solution design, BOM generation and preparing tender response.
• Work with different stakeholders to formulate effective solution according to customer needs and business requirement
• Participate in presales activities, review clients functional and technical requirements and propose the best-fit solutions to fulfill clients needs
• Lead solution design and planning of new services development; and enhancement of existing services offerings
• Study and evaluate new technologies in the market
• Study on industry compliance standards published by authorities, including financial sector and/or governments
• Develop and maintain security architecture artifacts (e.g. reference architectures, principles, models, templates, standards and procedures) that can be leveraged by projects and operations across different teams
• Take a leadership role to spread out the CyberSecurity services to other digital infrastructure within the group.

Requirements

• Degree or above in Computer Science, CyberSecurity, Engineering or related disciplines
• Minimum 12 years experience in ICT or IT industry, presales / sales experiences on Cyber Security solution is a must
• Strong business acumen with ability to grasp the business opportunities and drive the team to meet the assigned KPIs
• Recognized Cyber Security Certificate Holders such as CISSP/CISA/CISM would be an advantage
• Good people and team management skills, with analytical mind, proven project management experience and problem-solving capability
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese
