Job summary

JST Studio is a Hong Kong content production company serving bars, restaurants and hotel groups. We are expanding our editing team with freelance, part-time and full-time roles. This is a fully remote position, so you can be based anywhere with a reliable connection.

You will edit short-form Reels and YouTube features, maintain a cohesive client look, and manage files and revisions efficiently. Strong editing skills and a proactive, collaborative attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio of short-form and YouTube edits.
• Experience with hospitality or lifestyle content is a plus.
• Excellent file management and archiving.
• Ability to take briefs and iterate through revisions quickly.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form video (15–45s) for Reels and Xiaohongshu style content.
• Edit YouTube videos from brand features to channel content.
• Cut brand videos for campaigns and seasonal launches.
• Maintain a polished, consistent look across client content.
• Organise project files with clear naming and archiving.
• Deliver to agreed turnarounds and manage revisions.

Job description

JST Studio is a Hong Kong content production company working with F&B and hospitality brands: bars, restaurants and hotel groups. We shoot and edit the content our clients post across Instagram, Xiaohongshu, YouTube and their wider marketing.

We're growing our editing team and are open to freelance, part-time and full-time arrangements. This role is fully remote, so you can be based anywhere with a reliable connection.

What you'll do

• Edit short-form video (Reels and Xiaohongshu-style content, 15 to 45 seconds) from footage our team shoots
• Edit YouTube videos, from longer brand features to channel content
• Cut brand videos for campaigns and seasonal launches
• Keep a polished, consistent look across each client's content
• Keep project files organised: consistent naming, clean folder structures, and footage and finished edits archived properly at the end of each job
• Deliver to agreed turnarounds and handle revision rounds quickly

What we're looking for

• A portfolio of strong short-form and YouTube edits, ideally food, drink, lifestyle or hospitality
• Strong skills in Premiere Pro, Final Cut or DaVinci Resolve, with good sound, pacing and colour
• Organised and methodical with files and archiving
• Reliable communication, and the ability to take a brief and run with it
• Bonus: motion graphics, subtitling, or photo retouching
