Job summary

Peoplebank Hong Kong Limited is seeking an experienced Middleware Engineer to drive enterprise stability by architecting, deploying, and maintaining Oracle middleware and database integrations for financial applications. The role focuses on WebLogic, SOA Suite, and Fusion Middleware, with responsibilities spanning high-availability, incident resolution, and cross-team collaboration.

Proficiency in UNIX/Linux, shell scripting, and multiple languages is required.

Qualifications

• Architect, configure, and maintain Oracle middleware environments including WebLogic, SOA Suite, and Oracle Fusion Middleware.
• Configure clustering, application deployments, and high-availability systems to guarantee maximum uptime.
• Integrate and troubleshoot enterprise applications across DB2 and Sybase database environments.
• Resolve incidents, perform root cause analyses, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and SOPs.
• Collaborate with application developers, infrastructure teams, and external vendors on integrated solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in technical project planning and solution design.
• Implement security standards, patching protocols, and vulnerability management procedures across all middleware components.

• Demonstrate over 3 years of professional experience in middleware engineering with Oracle expertise.
• Bring hands-on operational experience with DB2 and Sybase database systems.
• Apply proficiency in UNIX and Linux system administration alongside shell scripting.
• Communicate effectively in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
• Leverage preferred experience with enterprise messaging systems, cloud platforms, and containerization tools.
• Exhibit strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to perform under high-pressure conditions.
