Job summary

A well-established public enterprise in Hong Kong is seeking a Technical Lead (Middleware) to oversee infrastructure architecture and collaborate with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure design, expertise in server operations, virtualization, and a strong command of English, Cantonese, and Putonghua. This role involves partnering with business users to implement Hospitality systems, and requires excellent communication and analytical skills.

Job Description

• Partner with business users, IT groups and vendors to implement the Hospitality related systems (e.g. POS)
• Work with business users to document requirements, prepare specifications and resolve any requirement & technical issue
• Work with architecture / infrastructure team to perform technical design and construction
• Prepare and review design and implementation documents according to Product Development Life Cycle to ensure business, technical and operational requirements are met.
• Assist IT operations team to perform software installation and implementation.

Job Requirements

• University Degree or above in Computer Sciences, IT or related discipline
• A minimum of 5 years’ in core & sizeable infrastructure architecture design
• With solid technical know-how in server operation systems, virtualization, storage, database, middleware, network technology and etc.
• Proven record of implementing large scale IT infrastructure projects.
• Exposure in full infrastructure life cycle, from the design, configuration, monitoring, maintenance and so on
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English, Cantonese and Putonghua
• Ability to adapt in a fast moving project environment
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills
• Pro‑active attitude, independent and creative‑thinking
• Good team player with sense of co‑operation and be able to collaborate with different level of stakeholders in a complex environment
