Everlink HR Consulting Limited is recruiting an Underwriter – Industry Practices (Casualty / Financial Lines) in Hong Kong. You will evaluate, underwrite, and price complex liability risks for Technology, Life Sciences, and High-Tech Manufacturing sectors.

You will manage portfolios across Casualty and Financial Lines, analyze financials and exposure data, and collaborate with brokers to drive pipeline growth while supporting regional underwriting teams.

Qualifications

• Underwriting of complex liability risks across Casualty and Financial Lines.
• Strong risk analysis, policy wording interpretation, and negotiation.
• Fluent English and Chinese (written and spoken).

Evaluate, underwrite, and price complex commercial liability risks for target industry sectors (including Technology, Life Sciences, and High-Tech Manufacturing).

Portfolio management across Casualty (CGL, Public Liability, Products Liability) or Financial Lines / Specialty Lines (D&O, E&O, Cyber).

Analyze corporate financials, risk exposure data, and loss histories to determine policy terms, conditions, and coverage structures.

Cultivate and strengthen relationships with major international and local insurance brokers to drive pipeline growth.

Collaborate with regional underwriting teams, risk engineers, and claims professionals to ensure portfolio profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, underwrite, and price complex commercial liability risks for target industry sectors (including Technology, Life Sciences, and High-Tech Manufacturing).

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Finance, Law, Business Administration, or related disciplines.

• Minimum 4 years of commercial underwriting experience specializing in Casualty or Financial Lines / Specialty Lines.

• ANZIIF, ACII, or equivalent professional insurance qualifications are highly preferred.

• Strong technical acumen in risk analysis, policy wording interpretation, and commercial negotiation.

• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
