Job summary

Emperor Entertainment (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a Business Analyst on a 1-year secondment to lead UAT activities for a major system implementation in Hong Kong. You will develop strategy, test plans, and cases, and coordinate cross-functional teams across business users and IT.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in system testing, UAT coordination, business analysis, or project implementation.
• Proven experience in managing UAT activities for large-scale system implementation or enhancement projects.
• Experience in insurance, financial services, or related industries is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA or other defect management tools, SQL for data verification and analysis, Microsoft Excel (advanced functions preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop UAT strategy, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
• Coordinate and execute end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
• Review business requirements and functional specifications to ensure test coverage.
• Facilitate defect triage meetings and work closely with IT teams to resolve issues.
• Validate fixes and perform regression testing where required.
• Act as the key liaison between business users, project teams, and IT teams throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Attend project meetings and provide updates on testing progress, issues.
• Provide business users with advice and guidance on system functions and testing activities.
• Support production rollout and post-implementation stabilization activities.
• Provide day-to-day support for system-related enquiries and issues.
• Work with business users and IT teams to investigate and resolve production issues.

Education

Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Business Information Systems, or related disciplines
