Job summary

The Hong Kong Institute of Planners is seeking a Graduate Planner to support in-house town planning applications and project coordination. The successful candidate will work closely with senior planners, liaising with consultants and government departments.

Candidates should hold a degree in Urban Planning or equivalent, be fluent in English and Chinese, and proficient in AutoCAD and graphical presentation. Independence, motivation and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Familiar with the town planning framework and statutory requirements in Hong Kong.
• Proficient in written English & Chinese.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and graphical presentation.
• Strong coordination, communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, responsible and able to work independently.
• Degree Holder in Urban Planning or equivalent (For Graduate Planner).

Responsibilities

• Assist in-house planner with preparation of town planning or surveying applications.
• Project coordination and management; and
• Liaison with Professional Consultants and Government departments.
• Assist in ad-hoc assignment as required
