The Urban Renewal Authority invites applications for the position of Manager, Planning & Design in Hong Kong. You will lead district‑scale feasibility studies, coordinate multidisciplinary consultants, and develop notional designs and technical assessments to support urban renewal projects.

You will liaise with government bodies, districts, academics and professional bodies, prepare submissions and deliver presentations to secure public support and project objectives.

Qualifications

• University degree in Architecture or related discipline.
• Recognized professional qualifications (HKIA/HKIUD/RIBA) or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of post-professional degree experience.
• Design‑oriented with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in local/overseas area‑wide planning and architectural mixed‑use projects with design input using Revit, Rhino, SketchUp or AI tools.

Responsabilités

• Spearhead district‑based studies, PPFSs and feasibility studies to drive design excellence.
• Procure and manage multidisciplinary external consultants for planning studies and technical assessments.
• Develop notional designs and technical assessments and present to leadership and stakeholders.
• Liaise with government bureaus, councils, academics and professional bodies to champion objectives.
• Prepare high‑level submissions and deliver presentations to secure public support.
