Job summary

Urban Renewal Authority in Hong Kong seeks a senior architect/urban designer to drive district-scale planning studies and develop design options for renewal projects. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams and present proposals to leadership and external stakeholders.

Applicants should hold an Architecture degree, HKIA/HKIUD/RIBA qualifications, and 8+ years of post-graduate experience, with proficiency in Revit, Rhino, SketchUp and AI design tools, plus strong English and Chinese

Qualifications

University degree holder in Architecture or related discipline.
Recognized professional qualifications such as HKIA, HKIUD or RIBA.
Minimum 8 years of post-professional degree experience.
Design-oriented with strong communication and presentation skills.
Experience with local/overseas planning or urban design projects; proficiency in Revit, Rhino, SketchUp or AI design tools.

Responsibilities

Spearhead district-based studies and feasibility studies to drive design excellence.
Procure and manage external consultants for planning studies and design options.
Develop notional designs and technical assessments for schemes and present to leadership and stakeholders.
Liaise with government bodies, councils, academics and professionals to champion objectives.
Prepare technical submissions and deliver presentations to committees and public audiences.
