Job summary

Societe Generale seeks a Trainee for a 24‑month full-time role in Bond Syndication within the Debt Capital Markets team in Hong Kong. You will assist in pricing strategies, support execution of bond mandates, and help develop client relationships across global markets.

Ideal candidates hold a Finance/Business/Economics degree and show strong analytical, numerical, and IT skills, with fluency in English and Mandarin.

Qualifications

Hold a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or similar.
Ability to gather understanding of financial analysis, including pricing dynamics and relative value.
Proven analytical, numerical and IT skills.
Ability to assess risks and act with SG values and conduct guidelines.
Ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships.
Consistency and rigour in following up on clients’ needs.
Demonstrate discipline and teamwork to develop business for clients and markets.
Ability to work with diverse, international colleagues and meet priorities.
Strong written and presentation skills; fluency in English and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

Support pricing and syndication strategy for debt capital market transactions.
Monitor and manage execution of bond mandates with distribution teams.
Help develop track record of winning and executing bond mandates.
Contribute to advisory and product offering aligned with business strategy.
Support client base development in line with Global Finance and SG priorities.
Assist in internal dialogues with regional/product heads in Debt Capital Markets.
