Job summary

Global Executive Consultants Ltd. is seeking a senior engineering professional in Hong Kong to provide L2/L3 production support for premium trading platforms. You will optimize IHS/WAS layers, manage SSL bindings, and ensure low latency and high availability under tight trading windows.

You must have 7+ years in financial institutions with securities trading know-how, strong JAVA/SQL/API/Linux/DB2 skills, and Cantonese/Mandarin/English fluency for regional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in enterprise financial institutions focusing on securities trading architectures.
• Proficiency in JAVA, SQL scripting, API interfaces, Linux/Unix shells, and DB2 data models.
• Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English for regional stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End production support for premium Web and Mobile trading platforms.
• Architectural optimization of IHS, WAS, load balancers, and SSL certificate binding.
• Diagnose bottlenecks via log analysis in Unix/Linux and DB2 environments.
• Lead independent projects, patch deployments, and systems integration scripts.
• Maintain architecture maps, playbooks, and DR docs for audits.
