Job summary

HKEX is seeking an Associate for the Business Reporting & Controls function to oversee regulatory reporting and deliver timely market information. You will partner with Trading Operations, Markets, Technology and other teams to enhance reporting capabilities, improve data quality and automate manual processes to support risk monitoring and control initiatives.

The role emphasizes analytical rigor, process improvement and resilience of market operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Information Systems or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in trading operations, regulatory reporting, management information reporting, operational risk and controls, or related functions.

Responsibilities

Prepare, validate and submit regulatory reports to relevant authorities in a timely and accurate manner.
Produce recurring and ad hoc management reports, dashboards and packs for oversight and decision-making.
Review reporting processes and controls to identify opportunities for standardization and efficiency.
Design, implement and maintain preventive and detective controls to improve accuracy and compliance.
Partner with business, technology and data teams to automate reporting and reduce risk through digitization and workflow optimization.
Perform data reconciliation, validation and QA to ensure integrity of reporting outputs.
