Job summary

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) is seeking an Associate for the Business Reporting & Controls function to oversee regulatory reporting obligations and deliver timely market information to internal and external stakeholders.

In this role you will partner with Trading Operations, Markets, Technology and other business functions to enhance reporting capabilities, automate manual processes and strengthen data quality, controls and transformation initiatives across the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Information Systems or related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in trading operations or regulatory reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with data visualization and workflow tools is a plus.
• Proficient in English and Chinese (Mandarin).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, validate and submit regulatory reports to authorities in a timely and accurate manner.
• Produce management reports, dashboards and reporting packs to support oversight and decision-making.
• Review reporting processes for enhancement, standardization and efficiency.
• Design and maintain controls to strengthen reporting accuracy and compliance.
• Partner with business, technology and data teams to automate manual reporting.
• Perform data reconciliation and quality assurance for reporting outputs.
