Fanatics Collectibles is seeking a Trade and Event Marketing Manager to lead regional activations in ANZ, KR, ASEAN, and India. You will drive on-ground presence, manage initiatives from RIP nights to franchise collaborations, and partner with the Sales Manager to elevate partner and collector experiences.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in trade marketing or event management, strong analysis skills, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 5+ years in Trade Marketing, Event Management, or Field Marketing within Consumer Goods.
• Experience across Other APAC region (ANZ, KR, ASEAN, IN) is highly preferred.
• Strong ability to analyze sales data and present insights to leadership.
• Excellent English communication; additional regional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute regional trade activities and major events (RIP nights, in-store days, retail displays, shows, and franchise collaborations).
• Serve as primary liaison between hobby shops, organizers, vendors, and brand teams to ensure delivery of marketing initiatives.
• Develop and manage regional marketing budget; optimize ROI across activations.
• Partner with Sales to enhance experiences for B2B partners and end-collectors; foster brand loyalty.

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Trade and Event Marketing Manager to lead our regional trade activations and event strategies across the Other APAC region (ANZ, South Korea, ASEAN, and India). Reporting directly to the Sales Director, you will be the driving force behind our on-the-ground presence, managing everything from local hobby shop initiatives (like RIP nights) to massive franchise collaborations (such as the NFL Melbourne game, F1 Singapore race, and NBA House).

The ideal candidate comes from a Consumer Goods background, is a strategic planner, a hands-on executor, and a data-driven marketer. If you love sports, that is a big plus—and if you are a sports card collector yourself, that is a massive plus!

Key Responsibilities

• Event & Trade Execution: Spearhead the planning, coordination, and execution of regional trade activities (e.g., RIP nights, in-store trade days, and retail displays) and major events (e.g., Sports Card Shows and franchise collaborations).
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between local direct hobby shops, event organizers, external vendors, and internal brand teams to ensure seamless delivery of all marketing initiatives.
• Budget Management: Develop, manage, and evaluate the regional marketing budget. Ensure optimal allocation of resources to maximize Return on Investment (ROI) across all trade and event activations.
• Community & Partner Engagement: Partner closely with the Sales Manager to elevate the experience for both B2B business partners and end-collectors. Drive initiatives that foster brand loyalty, stimulate market growth, and strengthen community bonding within the hobby.
• Market Analysis & Reporting: Consolidate, analyze, and summarize marketing reports submitted by direct hobby shops and distributors. Extract actionable insights on market trends to fine-tune future marketing strategies and optimize stock allocation investments.
• Brand Compliance: Ensure all local and regional activations strictly adhere to global Fanatics Collectibles brand guidelines and licensing agreements.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or above required (Business, Marketing, or related field preferred).

Experience

• Professional Background: 5+ years of experience in Trade Marketing, Event Management, or Field Marketing, specifically within the Consumer Goods industry. Experience managing campaigns across the Other APAC region (ANZ, KR, ASEAN, IN) is highly preferred.
• Project Management: Proven track record of managing large-scale events and multi-channel trade marketing campaigns from concept to execution.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze sales and marketing data, draw actionable insights, and present findings to senior leadership to guide stock allocation and investment.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Fluency in additional regional languages (e.g., Korean) is an advantage.
• Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with sales teams, retail partners, and external vendors.
• Travel: Willingness to travel frequently (up to 30%) across ANZ, South Korea, ASEAN, and India to oversee key events and visit major hobby shop partners.
